Charleston Auto Auction, home to the nation’s first Certified Automotive Remarketer, has just announced that two additional management staff members have earned the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance certification.

Joining the graduates of the IARA Certified Automotive Remarketer program are general manager Laura Taylor and assistant general manager Bill McCready.

They follow the lead of Chris Wise, national remarketing manager for Charleston Auto Auction, who was the first in the country to receive this recognition, the company reported.

The certification is conducted by the IARA, and requires candidates to complete a comprehensive 20-course curriculum encompassing all aspects of the remarketing industry.

“At Charleston Auto Auction we have a continuous desire to offer our customers exceptional service through superior knowledge,” Taylor said. “One way we achieve this is by having a better understanding of our customer’s expectations and goals. Completing the C.A.R. certification program was an obvious decision to get a better perspective of our customers’ wants and needs.”
