McLEAN, Va. -

In its most recent daily NADA Headlines report, the National Automobile Dealers Association shared news detailing its board’s appointees for future leadership of the organization.

More specifically, the report indicates that current NADA vice chairman David Westcott of Burlington, N.C., has been nominated to take on the association’s chairmanship for 2013. He is the president of Westcott Automotive, and his 2012 committee assignments for NADA include Industry Relations and DEAC.

Forrest McConnell III — the president of Montgomery, Ala.’s McConnell Honda and Acura as well as the 2012 chairman of NADA’s Industry Relations Committee — has been nominated as the 2013 vice chairman for the association, the report noted.

The board revealed two nominees for secretary (Colorado dealer Jeff Carlson and Connecticut dealer Gary Reynolds) and one nominee for treasurer (Florida dealer George Nahas), the report indicated.

The board will officially vote for these positions in October.
