ADESA is calling on its dealers, employees and more for nominees in a social media-driven contest to find the “fan favorite” among its auction locations.

In a post this morning to the company’s Overdrive blog, chief executive officer Tom Caruso said: “You may have noticed that ADESA has become very active in social media recently. In October of last year, we successfully launched Overdrive, one of the first corporate blogs in our industry.

“We’ve also created pages on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and many other social media sites,” he continued. “Now we want to use our social media presence to celebrate the hard work of our team members. In an effort to recognize the best ADESA auction locations, we’ve created a fun contest — Fan Favorite Auction.”

Votes can be cast via Facebook, where contest rules are also posted. Voting can also be completed here.

There will be four regional winners, each of which will receive a victory party.
