MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -

Manheim revealed earlier this week it has named a new general sales manager for operations in Canada.

Tapped for the role is Ryan Stubbs, who in his new position will lead Manheim Canada’s field sales teams and strategies, partner with location staff to enhance customer service and develop stronger relationships with local dealers, officials noted.

Stubbs most recently served as the auction manager for Manheim Moncton. The new GSM will report to Scott Michaels, Manheim’s regional vice president of field sales.

“This dedicated position supports our strong commitment to our dealer customers and the remarketing industry in Canada,” said Jerry Tassone, market vice president of Manheim’s Northeast Market, “and Ryan’s strong dealer focus and proven skills will be great assets.”

Highlighting Stubbs’ history with the company, he joined Manheim Canada in 2008 and has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility at Manheim Toronto in marketing, sales and business development, the company explained.

“I’m excited about our plans for this market,” said Stubbs, who took his new post earlier this month. “We have great services to offer our dealers across Canada, and I look forward to continuing to build on our good customer relationships.”
