IRVINE, Calif., and RICHMOND, Va. -

Kelley Blue Book recently shared the top 25 most-researched used and new vehicles on KBB.com from December, and once again sweeping the charts was the Honda Accord.

Looking at the used-car rankings in more detail, the Honda Civic followed in the No. 2 spot, with the Toyota Camry, Ford F-150 and Toyota Corolla rounding out the top five, respectively.

Ford led the way with eight models cracking the top 25 on the used-car side, while Chevrolet was next with four models on the list.

Honda and Toyota each were represented by three models, with Jeep and Ram combining for three positions. There were two Nissan units to make the list with BMW and Volkswagen each taking one spot. The complete top 25 for the used-car side is below:

CarMax also shared the most popular vehicles on its website, expanding its range to the entire year (not including December). Overall, the vehicle getting the most searches on CarMax.com was the F-150. Ford swept the top two, as the Mustang placed second.
