HERNDON, Va. -

Honoring the best in service quality, Volkswagen of America is sending national champions from four different dealerships across the U.S. to compete in the automaker’s Retail Qualification World Championship next month in Wolfsburg, Germany.

The four champions from the U.S. taking part in the international competition are:

— Service Consultant National Champion: Virko Tammaru from Bill Jacobs VW in Naperville, Ill
— Sales Consultant Champion: Matthew Pillow from Riverbank Motors in Stamford, Conn.
— Technician Champion: Anthony Scripilliti from Dirito Brothers in Walnut Creek, Calif.
— Parts Champion: Michael Burkart from Fairfield Volkswagen in Fairfield, Ohio

“The customer experience is a key priority for Volkswagen, and our dealers’ service technicians are on the front lines every day,” said Robert Martell, vice president for VW Customer Experience at Volkswagen of America.

 “The goal of the Retail Qualification World Championship is to further expand the level of service quality offered by the Volkswagen brand all over the world,” he added. “We are proud to have four competitors from the U.S. market heading to the world competition in May, these service providers have proven to be the best of the best at delivering on customer satisfaction.”
