Potential buyers evidently had an appetite for domestic vehicles based on March data on the most-researched used models at NADAguides.com.

Among the Top 15 vehicles highlighted, analysts determined that 10 boasted domestic badges. The March rundown, according to NADA Used Car Guide’s latest installment of Guidelines, is as follows:

2. Chevrolet Silverado 1500
3. Chevrolet Impala
4. Honda Accord Sedan
5. Nissan Altima
6. Toyota Camry
7. Dodge Ram 1500
8. BMW 3 Series
9. Ford Mustang
10. Toyota Corolla
11. Ford Fusion
12. Chevrolet Cobalt
13. Pontiac G6
14. Ford Escape
15. Chevrolet Malibu

Looking at overall brand trends for used-vehicle activity in March, NADA UCG analysts found five nameplates posted double-digits gains year-over-year. That group included Jaguar (up 14 percent), Audi (up 13 percent), GMC (up 10 percent), Buick (up 10 percent) and Porsche (up 10 percent).

Conversely, a pair of Asian brands slipped by double digits last month. They were Scion and Mitsubishi, which both saw their used activity soften by 10 percent year-over-year.
