Dealers using Android devices may take note of the launch of VinSolutions’ mobile CRM application VinMobile for Android, announced this week, as a way to stay connected to customers.

VinMobile for Android supports all of the same features that are supported by iPhone and iPad devices, the company said, and follows the January 2013 release of a revamped VinMobile 2.0 for iPhone and iPad, and March 2013 updates for VinMobile 2.2.

“The Android platform expands the mobility of VinSolutions’ CRM users and is a big milestone for our customers,” said Jennifer Lee, senior director of product at VinSolutions.

“The opportunity to provide a mobile application for Apple products and Android products enables us to better support the way dealers want to do business with their customers,” Lee said.

The VinSolutions VinMobile app allows dealers to connect to their customers in a more accessible way.

Top features for both the Android and iOS platforms include the ability to quickly search for and add customers; receipt of leads and ability to contact customers directly from the Customer Dashboard; and capability to log customer calls and notes, and view contact history.

VinMobile, included in all CRM packages, also offers instant notifications of new leads, and specific views for sales staff and management with quick access to vital information, the company said.

The Android app is available for download from the Google Play Store.
