McLEAN, Va. -

Porsche certainly appears to be striking quite a chord with potential buyers at NADAguides.com.

According to the October edition of Guidelines from NADA Used Car Guide, the sports car brand led all badges in year-over-year gains for consumer site activity for the second consecutive month. Porsche posted a 32-percent spike in September. A month earlier, Porsche generated 31 percent more consumer activity.

No other brand had a jump of at least 30 percent during either August or September.

It’s quite a turnaround for Porsche. Before the start of this site activity surge, NADA UCG determined that Porsche’s reading actually sagged 6 percent year-over-year in July.

While not to the level of Porsche, analysts determined 17 other brands generated year-over-year increases in consumer site activity of at least 10 percent. Several luxury badges made up that bunch, including:

—Mini: 20 percent
—Suzuki: 18 percent
—GMC: 17 percent
—Audi: 16 percent
—Acura: 15 percent
—Mercedes-Benz: 15 percent
—Infiniti: 14 percent
—Lincoln: 14 percent
—Mercury: 13 percent
—Saab: 13 percent
—Kia: 12 percent
—Mazda: 12 percent
—Subaru: 11 percent
—Chrysler: 11 percent
—Jeep: 10 percent
—Volkswagen: 10 percent
—Volvo: 10 percent

As far as individual models, analysts noticed that trucks led the way when running down the Top 15 most-researched used vehicles during September on NADAguides.com.

Five of the 15 units mentioned are pickups. Here is the complete list:
