iReconCars Software, Carfax integration seeks to help dealers increase transparency, customer retention
iReconCars Software announced Wednesday that it has partnered with Carfax to deliver free myCarfax Service Shop tools built into its reconditioning management software.
As part of the partnership, the company has also made vehicle reconditioning details available on Carfax Vehicle History Reports and myCarfax.com. Car buyers can view key vehicle information such as a vehicle’s reported maintenance history and a reconditioning summary through the MyCarPedigree consumer tool.
"iReconCars becoming partners with Carfax just makes sense," general manager at Lithia Toyota of Abilene Texas Kenan Pyeatt, said in a news release announcing the partnership. "Both companies value consumer transparency and this will allow me to not only control my reconditioning spend, but to also deliver on our promise to our customers to do what is right."
Within the iReconCars platform, dealers participating in the myCarfax Service Shop program can also access tools like Carfax Service History Check, the company said.
Additionally, to boost customer retention, iReconCars dealers can register drivers for free myCarfax.com accounts they can use to track their vehicle’s service history, see open recalls and get reminders when it’s time to return for their next service visit.
