Next up is Kerri Harris, who is team lead, seasonal department at PreOwned Auto Logistics.

Auto Remarketing: What is the top trend you’re watching in remarketing/wholesale automotive this year?
Kerri Harris: The top trend I have noticed is EV vehicles/technology. My company recently attended a few different car conferences and EV vehicles were definitely a major focus at all the shows.

AR: How has technology/innovation impacted your specific area of remarketing/wholesale the most?
Harris: New technology that we are using which allows us to have instant access to activities of individual sales employees, sales figures, opportunities, customer feedback, and other data used to determine sales success. The ability to produce these reports, take action and make adjustments quickly has been extremely beneficial to my role.

AR: What piece of career advice would you have for someone new to the industry?
Harris: The best piece of career advice I can give to someone new in this industry is that mistakes are OK; they are the best learning lessons. This is a very fast-paced industry and it can be easy to get overwhelmed and to just take one task at a time.

AR: What is your proudest moment/accomplishment, career-wise?
Harris: My proudest moment/accomplishment is recently being promoted to team lead of my department. I worked very hard to get to this point and it feels amazing that my company believes in me enough to advance me to a higher position. I truly love my job and I am very excited to continue to grow and learn within the company.
