Carvana spreads same-day delivery into new markets in South, Midwest
Carvana’s same-day delivery service is growing again.
The nation’s largest online used car retailer has introduced its same-day delivery service into new markets in the South and Midwest over the past month.
In November, Carvana introduced the service in the Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Tampa and Orlando areas. Monday, the company announced it has added same-day delivery for customers in the Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, markets.
“Especially in the middle of a busy holiday season, customers value speed and convenience,” Carvana senior director of market operations and expansion Jacqueline Hearns said in a news relesae, “and we couldn’t be happier to make car buying faster and easier than ever before for Columbus and Cincinnati-area residents with our new same day delivery offering.
“We hope our valued customers take back their free time and enjoy the near-instant gratification of a vehicle in their driveway the same day they order it.”
Select customers interested in selling their current vehicles to Carvana can also get same day drop-off at specific locations in their area.
The same-day delivery service allows customers to purchase a vehicle on Carvana.com and in select cases, have it delivered to their doorstep in less than 24 hours.
The program was launched in August in Arizona and was added in Indiana and North Carolina later that month.
“For a long time, buying a car meant making trade-offs between convenience, selection and speed,” Carvana associate director of finance Alan Kibler said. “Now Carvana has made it just as easy and convenient to order a car online as it is to order groceries.
“This simple and powerful customer experience is made possible by Carvana’s vertically integrated business model, including our proprietary logistics network, broad and geographically distributed inventory and our innovative, fast, digitally native process that cuts transaction time to mere minutes.”
