Dealers Auto Auction of Mobile in Mobile, Ala., has named longtime KAR Global (now known as OPENLANE) executive Mike Drzayich as its new general manager.

Drzayich’s experience includes more than 15 years with KAR Global, beginning in sales and as fleet lease manager in Dallas, selling 50,000 cars annually for some of the largest commercial accounts in the industry.

Later, he served as director of operations and vice president of operations, using his field experience to drive operational efficiency and cost savings through the implementation of enterprise-wide technology initiatives including the AuctionTrac mobile app and real-time GPS trackers.

Most recently, he was chief operating officer for MVP Auction Services.

DAA Mobile said Drzayich, a second-generation auction professional, has demonstrated “unparalleled expertise” in wholesale strategy, operations management and team leadership, calling him “a visionary leader and industry pioneer” who has “consistently raised the bar” for the auto auction industry.

Dealers Auto Auction Group CEO David Andrews said Drzayich’s “wealth of experience and leadership will undoubtedly elevate our operations and drive us toward even greater success.”
