America’s Group buys San Antonio Auto Auction
America’s Group said Monday it has acquired San Antonio Auto Auction from BA&W Enterprises Ownership Group.
The move extends the auction company’s footprint to 39 locations across 19 states, including digital and mobile sales platforms, as well.
San Antonio AA is located on 44 acres in Texas and includes a six-lane arena, reconditioning facilities and mechanical services. Its dealer consignment and fleet/lease sale is held at 9 a.m. local time on Tuesdays.
“The addition of San Antonio Auto Auction to the America’s Group family underscores our commitment to expanding our reach,” America’s Group CEO Chuck Tapp said in a news release. “We look forward to maintaining the high standards of service and operational excellence they are known for.”
The BA&W Enterprises Ownership Group said in the release: “We are delighted to announce that a company whose core values and ideals closely align with ours is acquiring one of our auctions.

America’s Group most recently expanded in June 2023, when it acquired DAA Las Vegas from the McConkey Auction Group.
