Covideo launches AI tool to generate dealership messaging
Covideo is applying artificial intelligence to dealership marketing and communications.
The software company has launched Covideo AI Assist, an artificial intelligence tool designed to enable dealerships to generate vehicle-specific video scripts, emails and text messages.
The company said the tool can save dealers time spent researching and memorizing vehicle information and makes it easier for them to create videos with effective and consistent messaging.
“Our customers are accustomed to being on the cutting edge of dealership technology,” Covideo CEO Craig Zeutzius said. “AI Assist delivers on our promise of value-driven innovation, while still honoring the personalization element on which we’ve built our business.”
AI Assist crafts precise scripts for any vehicle on the lot using ChatGPT technology and integrating with the dealership’s inventory, Covideo said, allowing dealers to generate personalized communications quickly and easily.
“Adding AI helps us answer the most frequent questions from Covideo’s new users: ‘What do I say and where do I start?’” chief product officer Josh Winograd said. “Our intuitive tools work with you to create personalized scripts and reduce the barrier to entry to start using video.”
Founded in 2004, Covideo, which says it was among the first to offer personalized video email, provides video messaging for dealership sales and service departments, including tools to record, send and track personalized videos across multiple channels.
“It was important for us to create an AI tool tailored specifically to dealers’ needs,” Zeutzius said. “With AI Assist, they can feel confident in their messaging and spend more time getting cars off the lot.”
