Dealer news: Two large dealer groups open new locations; acquisition in Minn.
Holman has brought a new brand to South Florida.
The dealer group/automotive services company announced the opening of Holman VinFast Fort Lauderdale, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer’s first dealership in the area and among its first nationally.
Holman executive vice president of retail automotive Frank Carbone said the decision to add a VinFast dealership is part of the company’s aim to “continue to explore opportunities to further diversify the brands we represent,” adding, “We look forward to introducing VinFast’s exciting lineup of electric vehicles to customers throughout the region.”
Holman said the new dealership includes a “welcoming, modern showroom featuring the latest technology and first-class amenities to deliver an elevated buying experience,” as we as VinFast-certified service technicians, a fleet of courtesy vehicles and a customer lounge. The facility is also equipped with Level 2 EV chargers available for complimentary charging.
HGreg opens luxury pre-owned store in LA market
HGreg has expanded its luxury pre-owned car dealership brand, HGreg Lux, into the Los Angeles market with the opening of a location Costa Mesa, Calif., 40 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.
The dealership is the second for HGreg the Los Angeles market but the first for HGreg Lux, which was founded in 2019 with a store in South Florida. The Lux dealerships offer an “exclusive range” of pre-owned exotic luxury vehicles, the company said.
“Finding a made-to-measure luxury car can be a frictionless and enjoyable journey,” HGreg president and CEO John Hairabedian said. “We’re committed to offering our customers a smooth experience with every visit, along with significant savings.”
In a news release, HGreg said the new location offers “vehicles at competitive prices, with premium service throughout the process.” HGreg Lux Costa Mesa features a two-story office and boutique-styled showroom.
“We’re delighted to introduce our HGreg Lux brand to this growing community and look forward to exceeding our customers’ expectations,” Hairabedian said. “At HGreg, we’ve set out to redefine luxury, one car, one customer at a time.”
HGreg Lux offers same-day delivery service, contactless purchasing alternatives, a five-day money-back guarantee, cryptocurrency payment options and access to an inventory of up to 50 inspected pre-owned luxury vehicles.
Canada-based HGreg now operates more than 30 dealerships in California, Florida and Quebec, Canada.
M Automotive acquires another Minnesota dealership
Aaron Marthaler of M Automotive has acquired Valley Sales of Hutchinson in Hutchinson, Minn., from Jim Paul of Valley Automotive Group, according to Performance Brokerage Services, which advised on the transaction.
M Automotive now owns and operates 10 dealerships in Wisconsin and Minnesota under the leadership of Marthaler, whose automotive career began as a lube technician in Glenwood, Minn. The newly acquired store will be renamed Olson Chevrolet of Hutchinson.
Valley Automotive Group retains three locations in Minnesota – Valley Buick GMC of Apple Valley, Valley Buick GMC of Hastings, and Valley Chevrolet of Hastings.
