Consumers may feel like they’re without a paddle when it comes to figuring out the right time to sell their vehicle.

But they don’t have to be an armchair expert thanks to the Value Tracker tool from Carvana, which can help car owners determine when to let it go.

The platform launched last year allows consumers to quickly obtain a valuation on their vehicle and track that car’s value as market conditions change, helping them determine if they’re in a good place to sell.

And Carvana is returning to a familiar power couple to help reinforce that message: Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.

The company announced a new commercial with the pair on Monday that highlights the Value Tracker.

“We are incredibly excited to reunite with Kristen and Dax, who resonate so well with our audience,” Carvana co-founder and chief brand officer Ryan Keeton said in a news release. “Their signature blend of wit and authenticity brings Carvana’s Value Tracker to life, showcasing the fun and engaging experience we strive to deliver.”

Carvana launched a similar campaign with Bell and Shepard in summer 2023.

The latest spot, which was developed by Carvana’s in-house creative team, features the couple using the Value Tracker to monitor the value of vehicles in their collection and figuring out when to sell them to Carvana.

The spot will be launched in coming weeks through digital and broadcast platforms.

In addition to their comedic chops, Bell and Shepard would appear to be naturals for automotive-related ad spots. Both are Michigan natives and Shepard frequently discusses his love of cars on his series of podcasts. Shepard worked for General Motors as did his mother.
