AIADA, Carfax to Host Free Online Seminar on Vehicle Acquisition Process
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The American International Automobile Dealers Association and Carfax are offering dealers a free online seminar next week that can help dealers improve how they go about stocking their inventories.
The "Consider Your Buyers Before You Even Stock the Car," which will be held at noon (EST) on June 4, will hone in on showing dealers how to bear in mind "the needs, wants and consumer viewpoint" during the appraisal, bidding and acquisition processes.
Jay Luna, process improvement manager at Carfax, will delve into strategies dealers can employ to find the vehicles at the right price and ensure that these units meet customers' demand.
He will examine the following areas:
—Adjusting what you pay based on vehicle history.
—Finding the very best cars for your lot that bring the customers to you.
—Acquiring the needed information to buy the right car for the right price.
AIADA and Carfax encourage dealer principals, general managers, sales managers and Internet sales managers to attend.
Dealers do not have to be AIADA members, but it is available only to the first 150 individuals who register.
