Arguably the most active buyer of brick-and-mortar auto auctions in 2024 has now made a purchase on the technology side of the business.

America’s Group said Monday it has bought AuctionVcommerce, a tech platform provider in the auto auction space.

The move continues the expansion of America’s Group, which purchased Z66 Tulsa Auto Auction, Motley’s Richmond Auto Auction, San Antonio Auto Auction and Corpus Christi Auto Auction in span of two months last year.

As for America’s latest purchase, AVC provides an “all-in-one platform” that gives dealers a centralized hub to connect with multiple auction platforms. It aims to simplify the checkout process, relaying payment options, tracking service status and fulfilling report and gate pas requests.

AVC also is designed to improve the process of consigning vehicles, providing “seamless access to key industry resources and tools” while offering dealerships, “the same exceptional service and support they would receive in person.”

The company was founded in 2015 by Kelly Bianchi, who is the company’s president. Bianchi is the co-founder of the Global Remarketing Opportunities for Women organization and was a 2022 honoree in Cherokee Media Group’s Women in Remarketing program.

“AuctionVcommerce was established to empower independent auctions to compete effectively in the digital space,” Bianchi said in a news release. “This acquisition strengthens our foundation, enabling us to enhance current initiatives and broaden our vision.  Ultimately, our aim is to provide dealers with a more seamless and efficient experience.”

America’s Group CEO Chuck Tapp added, “With AVC’s platform, we’re equipping our customers with the tools they need to operate more efficiently and effectively.  It’s now easier for us to meet the customer’s needs in today’s fast-paced auction industry.”
