One Guard’s new system offers remote video inspections with certified mechanic

One Guard Inspections, a Repair OnDemand company, has introduced Priority Inspections, a system tailored for third-party administrators, auctions, dealerships and repair shops designed to offer a faster, more flexible alternative to vehicle inspections, providing the accuracy and reliability of in-person inspections without the wait.
Priority Inspections are remote, live vehicle inspections conducted via video. Shop technicians are connected directly with ASE-certified mechanics, who guide the process for accurate, timely assessments, the company said.
The system uses continuous video capture, including VIN verification for a tamper-proof record designed to prevent fraud and speed up the inspection process. One Guard said Priority Inspections allow dealerships and repair shops to accelerate claims decisions, save on costs, minimize vehicle downtime and improve workflow efficiency.
The company said the system’s benefits include:
- On-demand inspections available to schedule immediately rather than waiting for an inspector to arrive.
- Streamlined workflow, with no need to move vehicles or adjust workflows to accommodate inspection schedules. Inspections can be performed while the vehicle is on the lift, minimizing disruptions to the repair process.
- Remote accessibility, with inspections able to be conducted anywhere especially useful for shops in underserved areas.
- Scheduling by selecting the Priority Inspection option through the One Guard system.
One Guard said Priority Inspections are now available nationwide.
“Priority Inspections offer an immediate solution to the operational challenges faced by our clients when it comes to repairs,” One Guard Inspections managing director Bill Robinson said. “By offering real-time video inspections led by certified mechanics, we enable our customers to save valuable time, reduce costs and improve fraud prevention.”
