America’s Group has added its third auction in the Peach State, announcing Monday that it has acquired South Georgia Auto Auction in Albany.

This continues a flurry of buy-sell activity for the auction company, which also announced purchases of Car-Tech Auto Auction in February and auction tech platform auctionVcommerce in January.

The acquisition of Car-Tech expanded America’s footprint to 20 states and strengthened its presence in the Northeast, while the AVC brings the company an “all-in-one platform” that gives dealers a centralized hub to connect with multiple auction platforms.

As for Monday’s purchase, CEO Chuck Tapp called it “another step forward for America’s Auction.”

In the news release, he added: “South Georgia Auto Auction’s strong operational foundation and dedicated customer base make it an ideal fit for our growing network of auctions.”

The seven-acre, two-lane auction hosts sales every Thursday at 11 a.m. (ET), including dealer, fleet, lease and repo consignment.

Owner Danny Acord said, “I am proud to share the news of the sale of my auction. It has been a pleasure building this business, and I want to thank everyone who has supported me over the years, including my customers and employees who have made this place what it is. I am confident that America’s Auto Auction is the right buyer to take this business to new levels, and I look forward to watching it flourish.”

America’s Group purchased Z66 Tulsa Auto Auction, Motley’s Richmond Auto Auction, San Antonio Auto Auction and Corpus Christi Auto Auction in span of two months last year.

America’s has added auctions, “that align with its mission to provide solutions and exceptional service to its clients from coast to coast,” the company said in a news release.

Acquiring South Georgia AAA, “enhances the company’s ability to offer high-quality inventory, convenient buying options, and exceptional support to its diverse customer base,” America’s said.
