Solera is putting artificial intelligence into fleet management.
The vehicle lifecycle management software provider has launched the Solera Fleet Platform, an AI-driven platform designed to unify fleet intelligence, optimize efficiency and providing visibility and control over fleet operations.
Solera said its new platform brings the capabilities of its systems together to create a fully connected and intelligent fleet ecosystem.
Senior vice president of Solera fleet and vehicle solutions Amanda Acio said the platform combines “the power of our solutions across every aspect of fleet management, into a singular platform,” adding the company is “committed to driving ongoing innovation in global commercial fleet management. Our mission is to enable fleets to swiftly and safely make the best, data-informed decisions.”
In a news release, the company said the Solera Fleet Platform helps operators with fleet industry issues such as rising costs, compliance, down time and safety by placing all fleet management functions into a single integrated system, thereby putting operators “back in control.”
The platform allows operators to:
- Predict vehicle downtime with analytics that can identify potential vehicle issues before they occur, helping reduce the risk of unexpected down time.
- Improve driver and vehicle safety with real-time monitoring tools, promoting safe practices and minimizing accidents.
- Improve route efficiency using AI-driven algorithms to pinpoint efficient routes, helping lower fuel costs and improve delivery timing.
- Automate compliance processes to save time and reduce operational risks.
- Maximize assets with real-time tracking to optimize management of assets and ensure resources are being used efficiently.
“The Solera Fleet Platform is miles ahead of traditional point solutions,” senior vice president of product management and global supply chain Grant Gardner said. “Fleet operations and supply chain management are inherently complex, and solving for them requires more than disconnected tools. By unifying routing, compliance, asset tracking, video safety and advanced analytics into a single, intuitive platform, we deliver the most complete and intelligent solution in the industry — designed to drive efficiency, safety and ROI at scale.”
