WASHINGTON, D.C. -

The National Automobile Dealers Association revealed that serving as the organization’s chairman for 2011 will be Stephen Wade, the president of Stephen Wade Auto Center.

His stores are located in St. George, Utah.

Wade has a slew of franchises to his name. Among them are Chevrolet, Cadillac, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge Nissan and Mazda. He also owns a powersports store that sells Yamaha, Honda, Polaris and Suzuki models.

In addition to the election of Wade, a 2011 vice chairman was also elected by the board of directors. Chosen for this post was William Underriner, who is the president of Underriner Motors in Billings, Mont.

NADA’s board met in Washington, D.C., and elected these two dealers to their respective posts.

Their tenures will officially begin at the NADA Convention & Exposition, which is scheduled for Feb. 5 through Feb. 7 in San Francisco.
