Former BMW Exec Becomes Jaguar Land Rover’s New Canadian President
Jaguar Land Rover Canada will officially have a new president Monday.
Hired to serve in the position is Lindsay Duffield, whose most recent post was as BMW Group Canada’s president and chief executive officer. Duffield’s tenure in that position was five years.
His background also includes financial services leadership. He worked for BMW Group Financial Services in the U.S. as vice president of operations and vice president of sales and marketing.
Additionally, Duffield worked for Mercedes-Benz Credit Corp. in the U.S. as the director of marketing and communications.
“Lindsay has a proven track record of success in the auto industry, including extensive experience in the premium automotive business in Canada,” said Jaguar Land Rover North America president Gary Temple.
He continued: “His leadership experience in both the industry and the market, coupled with his strong financial services and business background will most assuredly help lead continued growth in the Canadian market as we build on the success of the new Jaguar XJ and launch new products like the new Range Rover Evoque next year.”
Duffield added: “This is the perfect time to be joining the Jaguar Land Rover Canada team. Jaguar and Land Rover are two premium and exclusive brands with a strong product line-up and with the forthcoming new models we will meet even more customer needs and desires.
“Working closely with our dedicated Canadian dealer network, we will significantly grow the family of satisfied Jaguar and Land Rover customers across Canada,” he continued.
