Innovative Funding Services Names New Director of Ops
In what the company described as a response to broadening expansion, Innovative Funding Services recently promoted one its executives to director of operations. Taking on the role at the financing company for lessors and fleet-management businesses is Robert Rohner.
When IFS moved to its new location on Burnett Road in Austin, Texas, last year, management pointed out Rohner was instrumental in setting up the infrastructure, obtaining equipment and hiring new team members.
Company executives said that Rohner began his financial career in retail banking and lending in New England. He moved to Austin in 1999 where he spent more than seven years with Velocity Credit Union, leaving as the senior loan officer before coming on board with IFS.
“While he started in the sales area working with loan applicants, Rohner quickly showed his attention to detail and assumed administrative duties in addition to his sales activities,” IFS highlighted. “Within a matter of a month he was promoted to office manager.”
Based on the belief the economy is stabilizing and the auto industry is getting stronger each day, IFS contends its clients are optimistic about the future. The company emphasized that it continues to provide a high level of personalized service to all its clients and works with lenders to offer competitive loan rates, a simple online loan application process, comprehensive vehicle service contracts to protect their investment and GAP coverage to fully protect their loans.
Rob McKie, chief operating officer of IFS, believes Rohner is critical to the company maintaining its level of client service.
“Rob Rohner’s exemplary performance in previous management roles has shown us that he is more than capable of responding to the growing needs of our customers and our employees,” McKie declared.
“In a service business like ours, being able to handle and work with employees from differing backgrounds and skill sets is critical,” McKie continued. “Rob Rohner knows how to encourage, support and listen to his team members, and those traits make him a valuable leader on our team.”
