Hertz Rent2Buy Offers Special Incentives for New Partner Allied Business
Hertz Corp. recently expanded its partnership with the Allied Business Network to boost its Rent2Buy, an online used-vehicle sales program.
The revamped partnership means ABN members, which include businesses, entrepreneurs and small business owners, can obtain a $100 discount on their vehicle purchased through Hertz Rent2Buy.
As some may know, Hertz Rent2Buy works like this. A shopper can reserve a vehicle online, pick it up at a nearby Hertz location and test-drive it for three days.
After the three-day period, consumers can choose to either buy the vehicle at the listed price or return the vehicle. If they choose the latter option, it’s simply considered a standard rental transaction.
Officials explained ABN is a collection of more than 37,000 businesses, entrepreneurs, small-business owners and individuals located throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. ABN has been providing discounts to businesses through group buying for more than 14 years.
ABN members already received discounts on Hertz vehicle rentals and Hertz No. 1 Club Gold memberships.
“We are enthusiastic about extending benefits through Hertz Rent2Buy to our longtime partner Allied Business Network,” said Mark Frissora, Hertz chairman and chief executive officer.
“This partnership is just a natural extension of our pre-existing relationship with ABN, providing them with savings through Hertz rental cars, and now through Hertz Rent2Buy purchases,” Frissora continued.
Added ABN president Jack Bergman, “We are very excited to introduce Hertz’s Rent2Buy program to our members. We have a tremendously successful history with Hertz, and we feel that our members will find just as much value in our new Rent2Buy program as they do in our car rental program.”
