Chrysler Rolls Out Quiz Game to Educate Consumers on CPO
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -
To help consumers learn more about the automaker’s certified pre-owned vehicle program, Chrysler has brought in a dummy. A cartoon crash-test dummy, that is.
“Carl,” the animated character, hosts an online auto-related pop culture quiz game called “What’s My AQ (automotive quotient)?”
During the game, Carl poses a series of six multiple-choice questions to contestants. Among them is the following trivia: “How many Dodge Chargers were used during the making of The Dukes of Hazzard TV series?" and "What vehicle launched the invention of the premium SUV segment in 1993?"
Throughout the game, Carl throws in various tidbits about how Chrysler’s certified program can be advantageous to consumers.
“We are providing consumers with an entertaining online experience while educating them about what a smart choice a certified pre-owned vehicle can be for many people,” explained Fred Diaz, the Ram Truck Brand’s president and chief executive officer and lead executive for U.S. sales.
“This interactive experience melds automotive pop culture with value messages interspersed throughout this engaging quiz,” he added.
Contestants are awarded more points the quicker they answer. They can also check a national leader board to see where they stack up against fellow players.
