DETROIT -

Michigan used-vehicle dealers now have another way of reaching potential buyers. Officials from MI Auto Times have added an online classifieds section to go with their offerings of current industry news.

The publication indicated the MI Used Cars Section can allow consumers to search for vehicles by:

—Make

—Model

—Minimum price

—Maximum price

—ZIP code

Furthermore, officials mentioned MI Used Cars Section can support image watermarking and the ability to update the website with time-sensitive promotions and specials. They also pointed out their system is compatible with most dealers’ inventory management systems and that they are accepting new dealer clients on a daily basis.

“What’s most important to MI Auto Times is creating an open and connected buying experience for consumers,” editor Ellen Edmands insisted.

“One of the greatest benefits to consumers who use our newly launched used car classifieds section is how fast and easy it is to browse vehicles from multiple dealers in their area,” Edmands continued. “We’re adding this new service to our website because we recognize how vital used-car sales are to the Michigan automotive industry.

“Not only will MI used cars shoppers be able to choose from many different dealerships, but they’ll also have an opportunity to read and submit reviews about the very dealerships they have bought from or are considering,” she added.

The publication believes the new used classified listings could generate more attention to its ongoing dealer ratings campaign. Consumers have until April 30 to enter a contest to win an iPad or iPhone when they rate Michigan dealers at the http://miautotimes.com/dealerratings.

MI Auto Times noted that users can rate multiple dealers but receive only one contest entry.
