Subaru Names New Social Media Manager, Offers Consumers Boon to Stop Texting
Late last week, Subaru of America revealed its new manager of corporate communications. Among other tasks, she will head up the company’s social-media efforts. Named to the post is Rachelle Damminger, who comes to Subaru from Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA.
Discussing her career background in more detail, officials noted that Damminger’s position before serving at Big Brothers Big Sisters was at national architecture and engineering firm EwingCole. She was the director of communications for that company.
Her public relations career began at Philadelphia’s Alta Communications.
Subaru’s Safety Promotion
If a driver signs the pledge, the individual is given code from the dealer to redeem online for two free tickets for the National Hockey League’s Colorado Avalanche.
“Subaru vehicles are known for their safety,” stated Lee Grodsky, Subaru Denver Zone Director.
“However, driver behavior is also a key factor in road safety and by asking drivers to pledge ‘NOT to Text and Drive’ we’re hoping to promote even safer driving, reduce accidents and ultimately save lives,” Grodsky added.
