EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. -

The grand opening date has been set for Auction Broadcasting Co.’s first-ever facility in the Northeast. ABC Lancaster Auto Auction will open its doors on Thursday with a sale at 1 p.m. EST at the interim four-lane facility, auction officials announced recently.

As reported in Auto Remarketing last month, ABC Lancaster — located in East Petersburg, Pa. — is led by general manager and partner Greg Gehman and assistant general manager Ron St. Denis. Other leaders for the auction include office manager Bob Slade, operations manager Gary Miller, customer service manager Heidi Wallace and more.

As of now, ABC Lancaster has three dealer consignment lanes and one commercial fleet/lease lane. The auction is currently constructing larger-purpose eight-lane facility on the property that officials aim to have opened this summer. They are also looking to expand parking from 1,200 spaces to 2,000-plus spaces.

The auction is situation near a stretch of state highway 72 referred to as “Dealers Row.”

“The property is well-suited and located near a highway system that will make attending the auction and vehicle transportation easy for our dealers,” said Gehman.

Sales will be held at 1 p.m. every Thursday. Registration for consignment from dealers, wholesale brokers and institutional accounts is now open.
