CARMEL, Ind. — ADESA Atlanta and ADESA Jacksonville are collaborating next month for a two-day heavy-duty truck and equipment sale that will take place at two separate facilities in Florida.

There will be a total of more than 500 units offered during the event, which will be open to both dealers and the general public.

The event will start at 10 a.m. (EST) on Feb. 10 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with over 350 units being offered with no reserve floor price. Then, at 10 a.m. on Feb. 11, there will be a 200-unit sale in Lauderhill, Fla.

Officials noted that transportation will be available at both sale locations.

"This is a great opportunity to purchase a variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment — ranging from flat beds to yellow iron road graters, assorted box trucks, back hoes, paving machines and much more," stated J.D. Larsh, ADESA's national operations manager, heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

The units up for sale include paving machines, rollers, wood chippers, tar pot, yard dog, aerial lift, bull dozers, back hoes, road graters, generators, mini excavator and a front-end loader. The Feb. 11 sale will include most of the trucks. Some of the units include box trucks, grappling trucks, debris trucks, cab and chassis, road tractors and a wrecker.

"It's not every day that a sales event like this comes together. We're pleased to be able to offer this extensive range of trucks and equipment," commented Jane Morgan, president of ADESA's specialty sales division.

The location of the Feb. 10 sale is 1198 Northeast 15th St., Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and the Feb. 11 sale will be held at 1640 North State Road 7, Lauderhill, Fla.

Dealers and the general public can also bid via the Web at www.equipmentfacts.com, where the event will be simulcast.
