CARMEL, Ind. — ADESA Indianapolis is helping to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International through the first annual Car-Truck-Bike show it is hosting later this week.

The fundraiser will run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (EST) on Saturday at the auction, which is located on 2950 East Main Street in Plainfield, Ind.

"This is a joint venture between ADESA Indianapolis, ADESA corporate and the Indianapolis Mopar Club," shared Dave Emerson, general manager of ADESA Indianapolis.

"It's a great cause, and the fact that it involves children makes it extra special," he added. "We're honored to be involved and hope to make it an annual event."

To put a vehicle or motorcycle up for consideration in the "best category" contest, participants must register between 9 a.m. and noon on the day of the show.

The pre-sale registration fee is $15. It goes up to $20 on the day of the show. Free T-shirts, dash plaques and goodie bags will be given out to the first 100 registrants.

To be a spectator, it is free, but the auction is accepting donations.

There will also be a $100 cash prize awarded in addition to a JDRF people's choice award. Examples of other top 25 awards include:

—Best General Motors, Best Ford and Best Mopar.

—Best tuner.

—Best truck.

—Best cruise bike.

—Best performance bike.

—Best engine.

—Best paint.

—Best interior.

Marsh supermarkets is donating food for concessions, the proceeds of which will be donated. Local businesses have also donated items for prize raffles.
