ADESA, NADA University Offer Free Seminar This Week
CARMEL, Ind. -
ADESA and NADA University are teaming up for a free educational seminar this week that will tackle market trends and new mobile technology while offering some creative used-car business tactics.
The second Industry Insight seminar (the first was in September at ADESA Dallas) is slated for 1 p.m. (PST) Thursday at ADESA Golden Gate.
“We are always looking for new ways to share information with dealers,” noted Tim Zierden, vice president of dealer consignment at ADESA.
“We were pleased by the turnout at our first seminar and look forward to connecting with dealers at ADESA Golden Gate,” he added.
The following industry experts are the seminar’s speakers, with their respective topics in parenthesis:
—Les Abrams, instructor at NADA Academy (used-vehicle inventories).
—Doug Hadden, manager of training and development for DealerTrack AAX (new technologies and applications).
—Tom Marr, Autoniq founder and president (mobile technologies and trends).
—Tom Kontos, executive vice president of customer strategies and analytics at ADESA (market review update).
“We chose to host this seminar during the lunch hour so we’re able to include as many dealers as possible,” explained Greg Beck, who is the general manager of ADESA Golden Gate. “Dealers can enjoy a free lunch, interact with industry leaders and network with other dealers.”
ADESA Golden Gate is located at 18501 W. Stanford Road in Tracy, Calif.
