MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. -

Automotive Resources International recently wrapped up its first-ever Utility Fleet Forum, which brought together utility fleet managers and decision-makers throughout the country.

It was held at ARI’s headquarters in Mount Laurel, N.J. from Feb. 22 through Feb. 24.

Discussion leaders included ARI technical experts in the following fields: utility fleet management, strategic consulting, supply chain management, and mobile technology. They delved into various topics deemed to be important by attendees.

The event also included guest speakers from business partners of ARI. These presenters talked about regulatory compliance. Officials also noted that a well-known inventor-owned utility’s fleet manager talked about the benefits he received from blending three disparate fleet-management systems into one streamlined, all-inclusive system.

“This forum gave utility fleet managers from across the U.S. an opportunity to talk about the unique issues they face daily,” says Rob Hoysgaard, manager of utility business development at ARI.

“Attendees were able to engage in open discussions with their peers, share their successes and come away with new ideas on how to meet utility specific fleet challenges,” he added.
