Auto Remarketing’s 2012 CPO Dealer of the Year presented by NCM Associates was officially announced this morning, and receiving this year’s honors is Longo Toyota.

The El Monte, Calif., dealership is the third dealership to receive this award. Paragon Honda/Acura was named the inaugural CPO Dealer of the Year in 2010, and Karl Chevrolet claimed top honors last year.

“It’s an honor," said Will Amiri, the dealership’s pre-owned sales director. "We’re very proud of being the No. 1 (Toyota) CPO dealership for as many years as we have."

Auto Remarketing publisher Bill Zadeits and NCM president and chief executive officer Paul Faletti Jr. will present Longo Toyota with the award on Nov. 12 at the CPO Forum in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Amiri will also participate in the “The Best of the Best: Top CPO Dealers Share Best Practices on What it Takes to be No. 1” panel discussion during the CPO Forum, which is being held from Nov. 12–13 as part of the Used Car Week series of conferences.

That discussion will also include Paragon’s Brian Benstock, Harry Haber of Capistrano Volkswagen and more.

Beyond the aforementioned panel discussion and the CPO Dealer of the Year presentation, the CPO Forum will include a host of workshops, panel discussions and more to give dealers a comprehensive set of tools to help them succeed in the certified market.

One of those presentations is the keynote address on the first day of the event. During the Opening Day Keynote, Stephan Schroeder and Joe Derkos of J.D. Power and Associates will present the CPO and Used Car Market Report from J.D. Power/Power Information Network.

During their presentation, Derkos and Schroeder will take a detailed look into these key market segments to spotlight trends and data that can arm dealers with best practices to succeed in the used-car and CPO fields.

Additionally,  Faletti of NCM — the company sponsoring the CPO Dealer of the Year award — will moderate a dealer panel on CPO Best Practices.
