CarProof Raises Funds to Help Disadvantaged Children Play Organized Sports
CarProof Vehicle History Reports provided assistance to children across Canada so they can have a season in sports through CarProof’s Drive to Help Day, a recently held fundraising event.
CarProof pledged to donate a portion of its sales from July 18 to Canadian Tire Jumpstart, a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged children participate in organized sport and recreation.
Thanks to consumers and CarProof dealers who supported the initiative through the purchase of CarProof’s vehicle history reports, the company raised $6,000 for Jumpstart to help Canadian children participate in organized sports.
“One in three Canadian families cannot afford to enroll their children in sports activities, and Jumpstart is making a huge difference in getting those kids in the game,” stated Drew Forret, CarProof’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
“CarProof is a proudly Canadian company, and we’re committed to giving back to our communities across the country,” Forrett continued. “We couldn’t be more pleased to contribute to Jumpstart’s efforts,”
The Jumpstart fundraiser was another in CarProof’s Drive to Help efforts, which are part of the company’s ongoing commitment to help out the many charitable organizations across Canada.
In the past, CarProof has participated in clothing drives, spent an afternoon preparing food baskets at the local food bank and purchased presents and food items to help families have a great Christmas.
