ATLANTA -

Used highline units remain hard to find this season, and a few certified pre-owned vehicles as well as rides from import automakers are proving scarce, as well.

These were just some of the findings that popped up in the latest installment of vehicle scarcity data that is provided monthly to Auto Remarketing by AutoTrader.com.

The company also gave some specific examples of brands and models that have been difficult to source. For instance, used Toyota models.

In fact, AutoTrader said that used Toyota models showed up on the scarcity lists in the following DMAs:

—In San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, the used Toyota FJ Cruiser came in at No. 2, and the Used Toyota 4Runner came in at No. 6.

—In New York, the used Toyota Sequoia came in at No. 8.

—In Chicago, the used Toyota Tundra came in at No. 7, followed by the Toyota Sequoia at No. 8.

As for CPO models, the CPO Toyota Land Cruiser crept onto the National Scarcity list, landing at No. 3, AutoTrader.com officials shared.

It also appeared on the scarcity list in a couple of DMAs: In Houston, the CPO Land Cruiser came in at No. 5 (same as in October), and In Los Angeles, the it came in at No. 6.

Another Japanese nameplate had a CPO unit hit the scarcity lists this past month, as well.

The CPO Hyundai Genesis "had a strong showing in Texas," AutoTrader said. In Dallas/Ft. Worth, the CPO Hyundai Genesis Coupe came in at No. 10. Furthermore, in Houston, the CPO Hyundai Genesis Coupe came in at No. 3, while the CPO Hyundai Genesis came in at No. 2.

As for luxury models, "there's still a strong luxury trend, particularly with Audis and Porches," said AutoTrader.

In fact, luxury models have proved scarce since late summer, according to the site's scarcity data.

CPO Audi models were particularly scarce at a national level in November, the company noted, and three of the top 10 models for national CPO scarcity were Audis.

The Audi S6 was the No. 1 scarce vehicle nationally. Other Audis in the top 10 were the Audi TTS at No. 5 and the Audi S4 at No. 7.

At a DMA level, Audis were particularly scarce in the following areas:

—In Atlanta, five of the top 10 models were Audis on the CPO list: Audi Q7 at No. 1 (up from No. 4 in October), Audi S4 at No. 3, Audi S5 at No. 4, Audi A5 at No. 5 (same as October), and Audi A6 at No. 10 (down from No. 3 in October)

—In Chicago, six out of the top 10 were Audis on the CPO list: Audi A6 at No. 1 (up from No. 6 in October), Audi A8 at No. 2 (same as October), Audi TT at No. 4, Audi Q7 at No. 5, Audi A3 at No. 9 and Audi A5 at No. 10 (down from No. 8 in October).

—In New York, six out of the top 10 were Audis on the CPO list: Audi S6 at No. 1, Audi A8 at No. 3 (up from No. 8 in October), Audi A3 at No. 5, Audi S4 at no. 6 (down from No. 5 in October), Audi TT at No. 7 (down from No. 2 in October), Audi S5 at No. 10 (down from No. 6 in October).

And two CPO Porsche models have crept up the top 10 list for National CPO Scarcity, as well, according to AutoTrader's data.

The CPO Porsche Cayman ranked No. 2 (up from No. 3 in October), and the CPO Porsche 911 came in at No. 8.

CPO Porsche Caymans are also particularly scarce in four DMAs: in Houston (No. 1) , Los Angeles (No. 3), New York (No. 2) and Philadelphia (No. 1).
