SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -

R.L. Polk & Co. revealed Wednesday that it has appointed a director of forecasting for the Americas.

Hired to the position is Anthony Pratt, who most recently was head of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Autofacts team.

Pratt’s duties in the new role include overseeing Polk’s forecasting operations in the Americas. He will also head up showcasing, selling and delivering forecasting products, services and business intelligence within the U.S. market.

Additionally, he will be made a global sales leadership team member. In his new position, he will work out of Southfield, Mich. Moreover, he will also be called upon to collaborate with the company’s global forecasting group in Essen, Germany.

Sharing more about Pratt’s experience, he also served as senior manager of global powertrain forecasting at J.D. Power and Associates. Pratt’s background also includes time in marketing roles with various automotive suppliers.

He is on the Society of Automotive Analysts’ board of directors, where he serves as vice president.

“Anthony’s industry experience and breadth of knowledge of the OEM and supplier segments will bring significant value to Polk’s forecasting business and to our customers moving forward,” said Kendra Rawls, Polk’s senior vice president of global sales and marketing.
