Welcome to Used Car Week 2021
Welcome back, folks. We’re excited to resume the in-person Used Car Week festivities after a year away, and we’re thrilled you’re here.
For many of us, this is an annual tradition. Yet we’re also welcoming a lot of new faces this week.
With that said, here’s a primer (or refresher) on what the week will include.
Combining five different conferences, Used Car Week unites all corners of the used-car industry — including retail, repo/recovery, finance, remarketing and the M&A/investment space — for four days to discuss market trends and forecast, share best practices, network and celebrate.
Pre-Owned Con focuses on the overall retail used-car market, including the certified pre-owned segment, dealer training, sales and pricing trends, and much more.
Auto Fin Con focuses on the full spectrum of auto finance, from subprime to prime, as well as the regulatory/compliance space and auto fintech.
Repo Con tackles pain points for managing repossessions, recoveries and regulations, including questions related to new technology, new ideas and new ways of addressing risk and other key industry issues.
The National Remarketing Conference provides a forum of analysis, education and discussion that moves the wholesale auto industry forward. It is focused on business intelligence for vehicle consignors, brick-and-mortar auto auctions, online auctions as well as the technology and services providers.
The National Auto Venture & Investors Conference (NAVIcon) is the newest show to be part of Used Car Week, and it will provide a deeper look into automotive investment, M&A and technology.
NAVIcon will arm attendees with information into innovative early-stage companies as potential investment or partnership opportunities, or those that have technology that might be adopted to create a competitive market advantage.
Another big part of Used Car Week is recognizing excellent through our awards programs. The week includes three luncheons spotlighting the Used Car Award winners; honorees from our Women in Retail, Women in Remarketing and Women in Auto Finance program; and Auto Remarketing’s 40 Under 40.
