DETROIT — AOL Autos used March sales figures to compile a list of the top-selling new compact and full-size trucks. So which unit led the way?

Site editors revealed it was a staple for the industry, the Ford F-150. Two more domestic offerings were among the site's top three units, the Chevrolet Silverado and Dodge Ram.

Breaking the list down by manufacturer, General Motors had the most with five trucks. AOL Autos mentioned two trucks apiece from Ford, Toyota, Nissan and Chrysler, while the site noted one unit each from Honda and Suzuki.

Site editors also offered specific sales data, a comparison to the retail performance from same month last year and commentary about each of the 15 units they listed.
