AR Canada to Feature Dealer-Specific Sessions
TORONTO, Ontario -
Based on feedback from previous events, organizers of the Auto Remarketing Canada Conference have decided to beef up the dealer-specific content at this year’s event, thus expanding the reach and relevance of this leading industry conference.
ARC 2011, which will be held in Toronto April 12-14, will feature two timely and topical sessions designed specifically to appeal to dealers.
First, Dale Pollak, chief executive officer of vAuto, and Doug Hadden, manager of training and development and strategic accounts at DealerTrack, will present a session titled “New Inventory Management Technologies and Techniques.” Dealers will also join the panel discussion to share their own best practices and key lessons learned in effectively utilizing these inventory management tools.
In addition, in a session titled “Best Practices and Smartest Strategies for Effectively Advertising Pre-Owned Inventory Online,” Chris Harris, senior manager of business development at Kijiji, will be joined by a dealer to discuss the creation of an effective online advertising strategy. They will also answer questions from dealers about how to grow their pre-owned business with a stronger online advertising presence.
“Dealers are really the lifeblood of the automotive industry, and we want to make sure that we’re addressing their needs with this conference,” said Bill Zadeits, conference co-chair. “The content at this conference will be timely, relevant and actionable for all attendees, dealers included. We want them to be able to take the tools and best practices they learn here back to their dealerships and implement them right away.”
More general insight into the Canadian automotive marketplace will be provided by Carlos Gomes, senior economist with Scotia Capital, and Geoff Helby, director of J.D. Power’s Power Information Network—Canada.
