MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. — Automotive Resources International recently claimed that senior remarketer Jim Jackson was the first-ever fleet management company professional to pass the International Automotive Remarketers' Certified Automotive Remarketer program.

The CAR program aims to give outstanding remarketers formal recognition, and has doled out these honors to five individuals so far.

To earn the certification, candidates must successfully pass courses related to aspects of remarketing like pre-, post- and actual-sale activities; legal and ethical issues; and remarketing technology.

There are 20 tests that must be passed for candidates to earn their CAR designation. Nine other ARI employees are currently undergoing the CAR processes.

"Since he arrived at ARI, Jim has been an invaluable member of our team," stated Bob Graham, who is the ARI director of remarketing and current president of IARA. "This certification will help him to further our remarketing efforts and give ARI an edge in the industry."

Jackson leads the management of auction sales, remarketing training and answering questions regarding dealing with clients and salvage remarketing.

Jackson's industry experience also includes positions with Insurance Auto Auctions and ADESA Impact.
