BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -

AutoTec revealed earlier this week that its AuctionACCESS program hit a landmark registration number. The dealer registration system now includes 100,000 registered users for its myACCESS online management tool.

“While it took us awhile to reach early benchmarks such as 10,000 and 20,000 users, we’ve seen myACCESS usership skyrocket since then to get where it is today,” stated AutoTec president and chief executive officer Chuck Redden.

“This accelerated adoption and use of myACCESS indicates that more dealers than ever are relying on technology to conduct their everyday business,” he added.

Redden said he believes the AuctionACCESS mobile application — which is in Beta testing — has been a major catalyst to the growth in myACCESS registrations.

The mobile app has several of the features found in myACCESS, and officials noted that some of the first AuctionACCESS Mobile users have been myACCESS users.

Sharing more about myACCESS, dealers and individual reps can use it to manage their AuctionACCESS membership online. They can update personal information and access vehicles and auctions through the Web.

Customers can use myACCESS to add or remove reps as well as pre-register with new auctions. They can also conduct pre-flight auction visits.
