BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -
The AuctionACCESS dealer registration system from AutoTec is now featured at each one of Manheim’s Total Resource Auctions, AutoTec revealed this week.
“This will immediately provide access to thousands of new buyers at our salvage-centric locations,” shared vice president and general manager of Total Resource Auctions Bill Tiedemann.
Chuck Redden, AutoTec’s president and chief executive officer, added: “We’re always glad to see new auctions become participating AuctionACCESS locations, but it’s even more exciting to see it implemented by an entire family of auctions, especially one as expansive as Total Resource Auctions.”
Brandy Thompson, manager of strategic initiatives for TRA, noted: “Having all Total Resource Auctions locations become members of AuctionACCESS will give our buyers a consistent process by allowing entry into any Total Resource Auctions sale with a single registry.
“We are excited to provide this added convenience to our customers,” Thompson continued.
AuctionACCESS specialists Cliff Honeycutt and Josh Moman went to several TRA locations to install the system and conduct in-person training. The TRA locations they visited included Denver; Dallas; Phoenix; Flint, Mich.; and Tucson, Ariz., among others.
Officials said the sessions were attended by representatives of nearby TRA locations, as well.
“We realize this will be a new process for some of our buyers and our team members are ready to assist with the migration,” Thompson concluded.
