As the holiday season gets rolling, companies in the auto retail space are giving back to their communities and helping those in need.

Auto Remarketing will keep tabs on these endeavors and share them in coming weeks.

Elsewhere, DCG Giving — which is the nonprofit arm of the Dave Cantin Group automotive M&A advisory firms — said Tuesday it has launched is Five Weeks of Giving program.

DCG Giving partnered with the Children’s Oncology Group back in August, and will donate to these COG institutions throughout the holiday season:

Dallas Southwestern/Simmons Cancer Center
Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles
Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin
Ann and Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital/ Northwestern University

“Making a difference in the lives of others is a keynote mission of DCG, and DCG Giving is focused on our children by providing funding specifically for pediatric cancer research and treatment,” DCG executive chairman and CEO Dave Cantin said in a news release. “With 15,000 cases of child and adolescence cancer diagnosed each year in the US, more funding is critical in order to make the significant impact needed to increase the cure rate.”
