DYER, Ind. -
Web application development company AutoLookout says it brought in 21 independent auctions to its network last year and plans for the first two months of 2011 include five more facilities being added.
In addition the new auctions being brought on board in 2010, AutoLookout said it showed growth in several other areas last year, as well. Site traffic climbed 50 percent from 2009, for instance.
There were 32,000 registered dealerships with AutoLookout. The total number of AutoLookout users was more than 100,000.
The company also generated condition report views that exceeded 5.5 million.
“Auctions have responded to increased customer demand for interactive online tools to source and remarket used vehicles,” stated AutoLookout president Dan Diedrich.
“A searchable and easily sorted run list is no longer good enough. Dealers are looking for more and more information online. AutoLookout’s robust set of account management tools, pre-sale marketing and post-sale reporting methods are a natural fit for an auction looking to provide top-notch services and convenience to buyers and sellers,” he continued. “This brings our total facility count to over 65, with over 750,000 transactions conducted through the lanes and online.”
