HARTFORD, Conn. — Executive Auto Group offered an update on Tuesday about its latest performance as a part of AutoTrader's Trade-In Marketplace. The program results in guaranteed value offers for customers looking to unload a vehicle through trade or outright sale.

Executives explained now they either can cut a check to the customer for a predetermined amount guaranteed by AutoTrader.com or apply that value toward the purchase of a new or used vehicle.

Consumers can redeem the AutoTrader voucher with the guaranteed offer at Liberty Mazda and Liberty Honda in Hartford, and Executive Jeep and Executive Nissan in North Haven.

Consumers who want to sell their vehicles outright but not purchase a replacement can do so at AutoTrader.com's official buying center at Executive Jeep Nissan in North Haven.

"This is the easiest way for a consumer to sell or trade-in a vehicle," declared Scott Orsini, owner of the Connecticut-based Executive Auto Group.

"AutoTrader's Trade-In Marketplace is accessible from any computer. The offer for the vehicle is based on real data and prints a voucher with the guarantee. Most important, however, is the fact that it puts the consumer in control of the value they receive," Orsini continued.

Orsini went on to mention the program was launched at his Connecticut dealerships in June, adding that "it's quickly becoming a tremendous success."

Chris Wilkie, a member of management at Liberty Mazda in Hartford, offered more feedback about how the program has benefitted his store.

"This new and easy way to trade in your car puts buyers' minds at ease before they get to the dealership because they know the dollar amount AutoTrader.com guarantees before they get here," Wilkie contended.

"They don't have to worry about haggling to get the best deal because they've already got the voucher in their hands," Wilkie added.

Gary Ciesco, general manager of Liberty Honda in Hartford, elaborated about how these potential buyers and sellers can obtain that crucial voucher.

"You receive a fair offer to sell or trade in your vehicle from the comfort of your home or office for any vehicle," Ciesco pointed out.

"The value is based on actual sales data compiled by AutoTrader.com, now America's largest independent automotive buyer," Ciesco believes.

"The trade-in calculator offers sophisticated technology for estimating the value of a car, and takes into consideration vehicle details, supply and demand, historical trends, regional differences and local market differences," he added.

Stacy Perry, AutoTrader's district sales manager for New England, touched on the company's developing relationship with Executive Auto Group.
