GAINESVILLE, Ga. -

Earlier this week, Black Book rolled out several enhancements to its existing iPhone and Android applications and also launched a version for the Windows 7 product.

Black Book president Tom Cross indicated that the highlight of the enhancements is the integration of AutoCheck vehicle history reports, which users can now tap into.

“Most notable of these improvements is the integrated access to AutoCheck vehicle history reports, along with previously available Carfax vehicle history reports, for subscribers of those services,” Cross shared. “These users now have the ability to e-mail and easily link from the history reports to our most current used-vehicle pricing.”

Cross added: “While speed, ease of use and the accuracy of our information are our most important objectives, affordability is also critically important.”

Another upgrade is the refer-a-friend feature. This gives subscribers an additional free month of service for each friend they get to sign on for a mobile subscription, Cross explained.

“It’s no secret that Black Book is the industry leader in mobile, with native applications for virtually any smartphone sold in the United States,” he noted.

"The new features announced today, along with our best in class scanner functionality and daily updates, separate us further from the competition from a pricing and content perspective,” Cross continued. “Our loyal subscribers can be assured that we will continue to aggressively roll out new functionality, content and features that will significantly enhance their ability to make the best car buying decisions in less time.”
