BEL AIR, Md. — BSC America announced recently that coming aboard the company's staff is Jeff Raynor, who had been in Jacksonville, Fla., working as a commercial and governmental sales manager for a local Ford dealership.

"We are delighted to welcome Jeff to BSC America," said Charles Nichols, the company's president. "His years of experience in the industry and a proven track record encompassing sales, finance and management make him an ideal addition to our staff."

"We are confident that his expertise and skill will prove to be a valuable asset to our organization," Nichols continued.

In his new position, Raynor is helping to expand some of BSC America's business units, including the Chesapeake Fleet Services fleet disposal operation, the equipment sale at the Clayton Station facility and BSC America's monthly powersports, boat and RV sale.

Furthermore, part of Raynor's duties will be helping to expand the market share of BSC America's Tallahassee Auto Auction.

"Working with the Nichols family at BSC America is a dream come true for me," Raynor shared. "I've been in this business ever since I was 16, helping my dad on his used car lot.

"It's something that becomes part of you, and this is a tremendous opportunity for me to be connected with a company that is exciting, dynamic, diversified and growing," he added. "The people are wonderful, and their dedication to their business and this industry is a breath of fresh air. It's a pleasure to come to work every day, and I foresee some really exciting growth in the days ahead."

Looking at Raynor's industry experience in more detail, officials noted that before his time at the Ford dealership, he worked as assistant manager and general at a few ADESA auctions in Florida.

Raynor's work also includes heading up the remarketing for Barnett Banks in Atlanta and Jacksonville, and for World Omni Financial Corp. in Jacksonville.

Moreover, Raynor owned an independent dealership in Jacksonville during the mid 1990s.
