BEL AIR, Md. -

BSCAmerica has rolled out a new website that officials contend makes it easier for dealers to find the used vehicles they need to fill their lots.

The new site provides information on all the company’s services but primarily focuses on BSC’s offerings in the auction market. As most know, BSCAmerica is the parent company of Bel Air Auto Auction in Maryland and Tallahassee Auto Auction in Florida.

“Our new presence on the Internet is extremely user-friendly,” stated BSC vice president Michelle Nichols. “BSCAmerica is a family of companies, with divisions in banking, automotive remarketing, insurance and appraisals.

“Our new website represents all those entities, but because the majority of our traffic seeks information about our auctions, the new website focuses quickly and directly on the tools our auction customers need,” she added.

Customers can immediately access auction inventory lists directly from the website’s front page, Nichols noted. As such, they can find the inventory available from BSC auction events, which include:

—The weekly sales at the aforementioned auctions.
—The bi-weekly General Motors factory sale.
—The salvage /Inop sale and the public auction, both of which are held once a week.
—The powersports and truck/equipment sales, both of which occur once a month.

“Our customers are really thrilled with the sort and search features incorporated into the inventory lists,” Nichols noted. “A dealer can quickly search for a specific vehicle by year/make/model, mileage or VIN, or can sort the list by multiple criteria to focus on a group of vehicles within the given parameters.

“The variety of search tags and the speed with which the searches and sorts can be done make the website a vital tool for the customers buying at BSCAmerica auctions,” she added.

Dealers can also use the website to find the portals for online sales, Nichols explained. Dealers can go to the home page and log on to Simulcast at either of BSC’s two auctions. Additionally, there are links to OVE.com and SmartAuction available on the site.

Moreover, there are consignment forms on the site. Customers can complete these online and email them to the auction. The website also offers password-protected market report information, plus assorted promotional, special event and auction services information.

“We’ve received a tremendous amount of feedback from our customers saying how much they like the new website,” Nichols added. “We have between 2,500 and 3,000 vehicles in our system every week, and our customers are raving about how easy it is not just to search, but to search in multiple ways to find the vehicles they are looking for. “
